Sago memorial hate rally

Jason Jordan, a student at Wesleyan College, took pictures of the hate-group from Kansas demonstrating at the Sago miner’s memorial service. As Jason wrote, “These people are sadistic and people need to be aware of their inhumane efforts.”

The pictures are infuriating.

Thanks for posting the pictures! I hope that people get a chance to see these pictures and share in my lamenting thoughts of this hateful group of professional antagonists.

Ugh… disgusting.

You shoulda heard “Pastor” Fred Phelps on Alan Colmes’ radio show the other night… he’s the sadistic leader of a sadistic bunch. He called Alan a “dirty Jew.”

These people are horrible. In fact, if you go to HuntingtonNews.net and look in the archives, I blasted that church.

The word sadistic is an understatement. I believe in our freedoms as Americans but this seems to go a bit to far.

“Pastor” Fred Phelps is “NO” pastor. Instead he puts together protests hoping that someone that is being protested commits some kind of violent act towards his protesting people. Which in turn becomes a lawsuit and his church makes money by taking the matter to court. As you can tell it must be making money. They sent their people to West Virginia.

It is scary to see such mindsets — which are not very far removed from those in groups like Al-Queda — in our homeland.

These people ARE messed up. I work at WMUL-FM - the college radio station at Marshall University in Huntington, WV - and someone at our station did a telephone interview with Mrs. Phelps - the Pastor’s wife - for their job at another radio station.. Anyway, I listened to it, and it was infuriating. The woman made remarks about West Virginians..and how they were only doing this because we allow gay people in our state, and don’t severely torture them or run them out, etc.. She said she had received dozens of angry phone calls from people in WV - which must be everyone in WV that has a telephone, or at least some sort of free long distance plan since they couldn’t afford anything else.. and she kept insisting that this was something God wanted them to do, and that he killed the miners because our state is such a terrible place, etc.

–She definitely seemed as if she was just saying things to provoke people into filing law suits, etc…thus leading into financial gain for her and the organization..

These type of people make me so angry - but at the same time, it’s just like..they don’t get it at all. I don’t know where their ideas or their way of thinking comes from. ..What a sad and pathetic existance..
