He sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake, he knows if you’ve been bad or good…

I always found it disconcerting as a child that Santa Clause knew so much about my personal habits. I’ve since discovered that the old man is as real as Tammy Fay’s eyelashes. Now the villainous hero has been replaced by Governor Joe Manchin who, in a recent campaign to crack down on littering, is urging everyone to run through Mayberry’s main street yelling “citizen’s arrest!”

Democrats say stop pointing at their ugly girlfriend

The Democrats must have exhausted all their ideas for correcting the business climate in West Virginia. Instead of actually fixing the problems facing our state, the Democrat members of the Legislature�s Joint Commission on Economic Development are turning on the whistleblowers.

In a letter to Chamber of Commerce President Steve Roberts, the Democrats are asking that the Chamber stop �the pessimistic ads that perpetuate a negative self-image of the Mountain State.� In other words, �we have messed up this state and cannot fix it, but if you don�t talk about it, no one will know.�
