Manchin’s tax proposal: a reason to vote Republican

Oct31

Its not looking good for Democrat candidates across the state so Governor Joe Manchin is trying a new tactic: campaigning on the taxpayers dime.

After releasing his plan to reduce some taxes while increasing others, Manchin will go across the state selling his plan. Of course the local Democrat candidates will magically show up as well with sycophantic words of approval. While Manchin may make feeble attempts to claim that everything is on the up-and-up, it doesnt take a tax expert to know that all Manchins stump speeches will end with, and if you elect my team, well get this legislation passed.

Truth in advertising

Oct2

Governor Joe Manchin spent last Sunday recording radio and television commercials for 10 to 12 incumbent Democratic legislators. It is unknown which legislators Manchin is recording for and what exactly will be said. According to the press, the general theme was keeping the Democratic “team” together so they can mess up the state even worse – okay, the last part was my words.
