Rice gets confirmed

After strenuous grilling for almost eleven hours by Democrats who allow partisanship to stand in the way of what is good for their country, Condoleezza Rice got confirmed.

Regardless of who nominated her, Rice is an excellent choice for Secretary of State and will do a terrific job. Unfortunately, there were two senators who didn’t think so: Barbara Boxer and (suprise, suprise) John Kerry. I wonder if they really want it on their record that they cast the only two votes against a qualified minority woman. Where’s the ACLU when you need them? Where’s affirmative action? That must only work for liberals.
